Terms and Conditions

Mountaineering, climbing and hiking have an element of risk associated with them, as stated in the British Mountaineering Council participation statement. "The BMC recognizes that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions."

We offer a range of activities in dynamic environments and changeable weather. Hiring a guide/Instructor does not guarantee success, but we will do our best to provide you with an experience that meets the conditions on the day, your experience and fitness levels.

Course bookings require a deposit of £100 and a completed booking form to confirm.

All participants must complete a booking form and agree to our terms and conditions. If a participant is under 18 years old they must be named on a parent’s/legal guardian’s form.

Participants agree to follow the direction and decisions of their guides/instructors. If you do not, you absolve us of any and all responsibility for your safety.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or a legal guardian at all times.

Participants should be appropriately kitted out for the activity they have booked and the weather on the day. If you are not, our guides may refuse to take you on the adventure due to concerns about your safety. If you are unsure please ask. Kit lists are provided for most activities.

Please ensure you bring the requested kit.

Participants must be in a fit medical state to complete the activity. If you are unsure about your condition or how you may need to manage it during a change from your normal routine, then we suggest you seek medical advice from your GP.

The full balance of the course must be paid one calendar month before the course date. If payment is not made, GoWild Family Adventures retains the right to 're-sell' your booking to another party. Any bookings within one calendar month of the activity are required to pay the full balance on booking.

It is recommended that you take out travel insurance. You must check that this insurance will cover you for cancellation, personal accident or injury, and travel disruption, etc. related to adventure sports you intend to undertake. If your travel/holiday insurance does not cover the booked activities, we advise you to take out additional insurance that will cover all of the potential risks.

Customers are responsible for any loss or damage caused to equipment and agree to pay the full cost of replacement. Any equipment hired or loaned from GoWild Family Adventures will be checked in advance and fit for purpose.

We may well take pictures of your day out and reserve the right to use these for promotional materials. If you do not want your photo taken, please let us know either on the day or in writing before.
