Your Safety

Before filling in your booking form please read this important notice.

Adventurous activities carry an element of risk. While we aim to mitigate the risks as much as possible, when you choose to do a Go Wild activity you accept this risk for yourself and your children. You may get wet and cold; you may slip, trip or stumble. Minor cuts and bruises are not uncommon, sprains and twists occur occasionally and there is the chance of more serious injury. You will also be out in the changeable Scottish weather and in an environment where both midges and ticks are common.

You must let us know of any medical conditions or learning disability any member of your family has. We will do our utmost to include everyone in our adventures, but we need to know about medical conditions and learning disabilities to allow us to plan and adapt for them. If you are not sure about anyone’s suitability to do an activity, please check with a doctor. Your safety comes first.

You hire a guide/instructor/leader to make decisions with you and on your behalf, and sometimes this decision will be to not attempt the route you want to do due to the weather and/or ground conditions, your ability or other factors. If so, we will always offer the best possible alternative. Please be clear, in these circumstances, the decision of your guide/instructor/leader is final.

Ailsa is covered by Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance. This does not include personal accident or belongings insurance. Participants should also arrange their own cancellation insurance.

Anyone under 18 MUST have a parent or legal guardian with them at all times. A family friend, aunt, uncle, older brother or sister who is not their legal guardian is not able to stand in. If an under 18 year old is without a parent or legal guardian the activity will not take place and you will not be refunded.
